Ingredients
- 3/4 C butter, softened
- 3/4 C white sugar
- 3/4 C dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 2.5 C all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.5-1 tsp salt
- 2 C dark chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 and prepare two baking sheets
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugars, and maple syrup until combined
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt
- Gradually add flour mixture to the wet mixture. Beat or stir until combined
- Add in chocolate chips and stir until combined
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes
- Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for about 10 minutes. Once the baking sheet is cool to touch, transfer cookies to a wire cooling rack to finish
