Ready To Start?

  1. 1. In a food processor or strong blender, add the dates and hot water. Roughly blend until the water is thoroughly mixed with the blended dates.
  2. 2. Add the oats and chia seeds to the dates. Fully blend until the mixture comes together into a cohesive paste.
  3. 3. Line a square 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Scoop the mixture into it and press down using a spatula until evenly spread. Wet the spatula with water if it is sticking too much.
  4. 4. Next, scoop the cup of peanut butter over the bottom layer and evenly spread.
  5. 5. Melt the chocolate and pour over the peanut butter, spread evenly.
  6. 6. Put the pan in the freezer for 1-3 hours or until fully frozen. Then cut into small pieces. Enjoy!

  • 8 oz pitted dates

  • 1/4 cup hot water

  • 1.25 cups rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (can use dairy-free if needed)
