  1. 1. Combine the dough ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  2. 2. Knead the dough until smooth and sprinkle more self rising flour on the counter surface.
  3. 3. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin until it is thin.
  4. 4. Add the maple syrup and filling ingredients in a thin even layer on the dough.
  5. 5. Roll the dough up and cut the dough into slices to form cinnamon rolls.
  6. 6. Place the cinnamon rolls on a greased pan.
  7. 7. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  8. 8. Top with the icing mixture.
