Ready To Start?
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2. In a blender, pulse the sunflower kernels a few times until they are a crumbly texture.
- 3. In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients including the blended sunflower kernels.
- 4. Warm up the water and add it along with ~half the cracker mix back into the blender. Pulse until the mixture is mostly blended.
- 5. Transfer the blended mix back into the bowl and mix everything together until the liquid is well distributed and a cohesive dough has formed.
- 6. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat, silicone baking mat, or parchment paper and spread the cracker dough onto it very thinly, about 2 mm thick.
- 7. With a knife or pizza wheel, score the dough into small squares.
- 8. Bake the crackers for 80-90 minutes, or until golden.
- 9. Allow the crackers to cool, then carefully separate them.
- 10. Enjoy as a nutritious snack or part of lunch!
