Most energy bites don’t have enough protein – these have protein in them so they make a complete snack!! Enjoy as is for breakfast or as a post workout treat. No matter when you eat it, it’ll help to boost your metabolism, reduce inflammation, and help lose weight.
Makes 9 bites
Ingredients:
- ½ cup oat flour
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Dash of salt
- Water (2-4 tbsp)
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Use your hands or a cookie dough scoop to form 9 balls. Optional: coat with cacao powder. Store the energy bites in the freezer until set and enjoy!
Per bite: 96 calories, 4.4g of fat, 9.3g carbs, 6.6g protein, 3g sugar
