Apple Cinnamon Protein Overnight Oats is a delicious, metabolism-boosting recipe packed with protein, perfect for breakfast or a satisfying snack. Created by me, a registered dietitian, this easy-to-make meal blends the warm flavors of cinnamon and fresh apples with wholesome oats to keep you energized and full throughout your busy day! Makes: 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats (gluten-free is ok too)
- 1 tbsp flax seed
- 1 scoop protein powder – I love to use this one
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/4 cup diced apple
- Liquid base to cover (I use cow’s milk, you could also use almond milk or coconut milk!)
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a Tupperware or mason jar. Mix to combine.
- Store in the fridge overnight. Eat within 1-3 days.
