Microwave Chocolate Protein Mug Cake

If you are craving a sweet treat but still want to reach your protein goals, this mug cake is perfect for you! Plus, this recipe is so quick, easy, and delicious!

Makes: 1 cake


  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 tbsp almond milk
  • Toppings: nut butter, chocolate chips, coconut whip topping, fruit


  1. Combine all ingredients (outside of toppings,) in a bug. Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds.
