5-Ingredient Healthier Caramel Sauce

This is a really easy and quick way to make caramel sauce with just 5 ingredients that you already have on hand. It will be your favorite staple to have this Fall!

(Yields about 4 servings; 1 serving has 302 kcal, 25g fat, 2.6g protein, and 20g carb)


  • ⅓ cup Coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup Maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to your liking)


  1. Place coconut oil in small saucepan
  2. Add maple syrup to saucepan
  3. Place saucepan on low heat and mix maple syrup and coconut oil until it starts to get bubbly
  4. Add almond butter and mix until it gets smooth in texture
  5. Add vanilla extract and salt 
  6. Keep stirring on low heat for 5 minutes
  7. Place aside and cool down for 5 minutes
  8. Transfer to airtight jar and store in fridge for up to 3 weeks
